1962, Patty as Helen Keller. Patty gave life to Helen on stage and screen as no one else could. The Sullivan Foundation is forever grateful to her.

Patty as "Teacher" Annie Sullivan, 1979. The student grew-up to play the "Teacher." You get an "A+" Anna.

Anna and her husband Mike Pearce.  After serving his country honorably in the Army for fourteen years, Mike left to join Anna in her work.  On March 15, 2008 they celebrated their twenty-second anniversary.  They are truly soulmates. They restore your faith in the institution of marriage.  Two good, loving and kind human beings who are making a difference in the world.  This webmaster is proud to call them her friends. God Bless you Anna & Mike.

Anna (Patty) today is as talented and more beautiful than ever. Her inner beauty radiates. She is a whole and fully functional human being. She is still entertaining us on stage, television and film. And, for many years now, she has been a great advocate for the mentally ill. Whether it's working to enlighten Congress, the public, or helping people with mental illness live a better life, Anna is there. She is truly one of God's angels on earth.

On November 15, 2004 Anna received this plaque in gratitude for all that she has done to honor the memories of Annie and Helen. We are proud to have her as a very special Lifetime Member of the Sullivan Foundation. Her own life is a tribute to Annie and Helen's message that "The human spirit is stronger than anything that can happen to it.
